Web Enabled Laboratory Monitoring System (WELMS-15)
Environmental changes in sensitive facilities call for continuous surveillance and on-line decision making, and it is in this area that IT technologies have become an invaluable resource. The WELMS-15 provides continuous real time temperature
monitoring and data visualization of up to 15 different locations from within a facility and
over the internet. The unit can be economically integrated into a local area network (LAN) of
a diverse facility, providing easy visual access to data from virtually any location. The unit
monitors temperatures ranging from minus 200 to 2300 degrees Centigrade (minus 328 to 4172 degrees Fahrenheit) at recording rates of up to 1000 readings per second (1.0 kHz). The system is also equipped with a continuous charge battery back up so that data and alarms can still be reported during a power failure via a LAN, modem/landline, and wireless phone line.
